Carriers in BIT's Data Centers

Our data centers are carrier neutral. This means that, in addition to our own network, numerous other networks are available within the data centers. You can use BIT's own network, but you are by no means obliged to do so.

Being carrier neutral allows us to set up direct connections between your office's existing connections and BIT’s data center, or retrieve networks from places like Amsterdam quickly and cost-effectively.

As a BIT customer, you have full control over how your network is configured. You can also switch network providers quickly and easily if needed. A structure with multiple carriers ensures redundancy and flexibility.

You can choose from a large number of networks on Layer 1 (fiber or wavelength on fiber and copper suppliers), Layer 2 (Ethernet providers or VLANs), and Layer 3 (IP transit providers) of the OSI model.
