Status:
opgelost
At around 13:30 hrs parts of our network were interrupted. Impact and cause are still under investigation.
Update placed at 26/08/2022, 14:00h
BIT Engineers detect a loop originating from a customer network and take measures, the network stabalises as a result. The loop caused two connections to core routers which transport traffic for a limited number of servers (a few customer networks and virtual machines) to be saturated. As a result, availability of these services was reduced.
Additional investigations will be done to determine why safeguards against loops were not fully effective. The customer ports on which the loop originated will remain shut until this research has been completed.
The incident has been resolved. If you have any questions regarding this incident, please contact the Customer Care department by phone on +31 (0)318 648 688 or by email on support@bit.nl.
