Packetloss on ethernetconnections between BIT-1 and BIT-2A

We've been experiencing packetloss on ethernetconnections between BIT-1 and BIT-2A since 17.57h. An engineer has been dispatched to investigate the problems onsite.
Update 19.30h:
The switch terminating these connections in BIT-2A had a high CPU load due to unknown reasons. Eventually, the switch was powercycled at 19.21h which caused the packetloss to disappear.
