Maintenance Microsoft SQL instances servers
26-03-2025 00:00:00
- 26-03-2025 07:00:00
Urgency: Planned
Affected services:
- Microsoft SQL instances
Expected impact:
- Microsoft SQL instances will be unreachable for a period of time
Customer intervention required: No
Reference number: 196700
Summary:
We are installing OS updates on both servers hosting the Microsoft SQL instances. As a result, there will be two moments during which the SQL instances will be inaccessible.
Details:
During the maintenance window, we are installing the necessary OS updates on the servers running our Microsoft SQL instances. To do this, we will temporarily move the SQL instances over to the standby server to facilitate a restart of the active server. Once the active server is back online, we will transfer the SQL instances back to it. We anticipate a maximum downtime of approximately 90 minutes for the SQL instances during this transition.
SQL instance backups that normally start during maintenance will now be manually started after maintenance.
