Maintenance Microsoft SQL instances servers
15-04-2025 00:00:00
- 15-04-2025 07:00:00
Urgency: Planned
Affected services:
- Microsoft SQL instances
Expected impact:
- Microsoft SQL instances will be unreachable for a period of time
Customer intervention required: No
Reference number: 197537
Summary:
During this maintenance, we will migrate the storage of Microsoft SQL instances to a new storage cluster. During the migration Microsoft SQL instances will be inaccessible.
Details:
During maintenance, we will migrate the storage of Microsoft SQL instances to a new storage cluster. Since a SQL instance must be powered off to migrate its storage, we will temporarily shut down Microsoft SQL instances. We anticipate a maximum downtime of approximately 90 minutes for the SQL instances during this transition.
SQL instance backups that normally start during maintenance will now be manually started after maintenance.
