Maintenance powergenerators BIT-2BCD

On Wednesday, April 29th between 0.00h and 7.00h we will replace the generator set of BIT-2BCD. The current three generators provide 800kVA each and will be replaced with generators which can provide 1250 kVA each. After the replacement the backup power setup will remain N+1. Currently the generator set provides enough power for BIT-2BCD. This upgrade is neccessary due to the increased power consumption of BIT-2BCD and will allow us to meet future growth.
During this maintenance two of the generators will be available at all times. In case of a utility power failure the two remaining generators provide enough power for BIT-2BCD. This maintenance will be supervised by BIT datacenter engineers.

Unfortunately this maintenance is taking more time than expected, the maintenance has been extended until 9.30h.
