Emergency maintenance BIT firewalls

On Wednesday December 23rd between 0:00h and 2:00h BIT engineers will perform emergency maintenance on the BIT firewall cluster. A high security risk has been found and an upgrade is required to address this issue. During this maintenance both firewalls will be upgraded.
The firewalls are responsible for the protection of internal systems for purposes of hosting services from BIT and the delivery of the UMTS service through BIT. Because of the redundant firewall cluster setup, disruption of services is not expected, but service is at risk for the duration of the maintenance window.

This emergency maintenance is resolved. The two firewalls are upgraded. All network components are completely redundant.
